Screed Camber

Hi Rick,

Why does not the PGSuper provide Screed camber that is required on WSDOT girder schedule? PGSuper report a C value which is equal to excess camber, not Screed camber. Am I missing something?

Thank you.

PGSuper does report both

PGSuper does report both screen camber and excess camber. Excess camber is equal D - C. C is the screed camber.

Screed Camber

Hi Rick,

Would you direct me where to look for them?

I printed out the detail report and looked at camber details. The C in the graphic and the C=Delta excess=Delta 6 in Table Camber-Part 3 are Excess Camber from my understanding.

I am attaching the print out here.

Thanks,
Yan

There is no screed camber

There is no screed camber because there is not a cast-in-place deck. C is the excess camber in this case. It gives you a measure of how much "hump" there is in the girder so that appropriate adjustments can be made to meet final grade.

WSDOT is using a CIP overlay as our standard these days. Not sure why you don't have CIP overlay in your model.

Hi Rick,

Got it. Thanks!

The print out is from an old project which only has HMC overlay. I am going to use CIP overlay on my project. Now the displayed C=Delta 4-Delt 6 is making sense to me.

Thank you for the help!
