PGSuper 2.7 Release

PGSuper Users,

PGSuper Version 2.7.0 has been released. Most noteworthy is the addition of the Kansas State Department of Transportation to the PGSuper development team. KDOT has been collaborating with WSDOT and TxDOT since November 2011 and the some of the results of this effort are part of PGSuper.
This release of PGSuper features enhancements that give you better control of the engineering process including:

  • Direct Selection Strand Input method
  • Support for all three strand relaxation loss methods defined in the AASHTO LRFD
  • Modeling of elastic gain/loss policies
  • Reporting of girder bearing reactions on both sides of a pier
  • New span range selector in the Bridge View window

The latest version of PGSuper can be downloaded from http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/eesc/bridge/software.

A list of updates can be found on the PGSuper Release History Page (http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/eesc/bridge/software/index.cfm?fuseaction=release_history&software_id=47)

WSDOT is the feature state at this year’s PCI convention, Sept 28 – Oct 2 in Nashville, TN. If you are in attendance, please drop by our booth. I would love to meet and chat with PGSuper users face to face.

Best regards,
Rick
