The PGSuper girder designer produces a preliminary and final concrete strengths. However, sometimes when I run the Spec Check Report the required concrete strength changes. For example, the girder designer provides a girder with a f'c = 8.7ksi; but when I run the Spec Check Report, it reports that the required f'c=13.6ksi. Meanwhile the report shows all the checks as "PASS" (besides the splitting zone check)even though the f'c = 8.7ksi. Any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Please upload your pgsuper file and some more details (span, girder, limit state), and I'll take a look

This situation could happen if the designer tool is configured to ignore lifting and transportation analysis and these analyzes are considered for the specification check.
The concrete strength required to make a stress check pass is reported at the top of each stress check table. Reviewing the table headers will tell you which spec check requires the higher concrete strength.
The very high final concrete strength requirements are often associated with the transportation analysis.
If you would like me to review your specific output, please send your PGSuper file. Also, be sure you are using the latest version of PGSuper (version 2.4.2)

Rick,
Thanks for the info. I reviewed the output file, and you are correct. The discrepanices are associated with the transportation analysis. I've modified the overhang values, and this fixed my problem.
Thanks.
