On the 15th anniversary of the first public beta release of PGSuper, the WSDOT Bridge and Structures Office is pleased to announce the first public beta release of BridgeLink.

BridgeLink is an extensible application framework for bridge engineering software. BridgeLink allows for a wide variety of bridge engineering applications to be link together in a consistent and cohesive environment.

This first version of BridgeLink features beta versions of PGSuper 3.0, BEToolbox 3.0, and PGSplice 3.0.

PGSplice is a completely re-written version of WSDOT's spliced girder software. PGSplice 3.0 can model a wide variety of spliced girder bridge configurations including multi-span continuous structures with cantilever pier segments, drop in field segments, erection towers, strong back hangers, and multi-stage post-tensioning. PGSplices uses a detailed time-step analysis method with time-dependent creep, shrinkage, and relaxation models from the AASHTO LRFD, ACI 209, and CEB-FIP Model Code.

You can find more information about BridgeLink from the attached information sheet and from the WSDOT web site at http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/eesc/bridge/software.
