ANNOUNCEMENT: PGSuper Version 2.5 Released

On behalf of the PGSuper development team at WSDOT, TxDOT, and BridgeSight, I am pleased to announce that PGSuper Version 2.5 has been released. This latest version of PGSuper has several new and improved features, most notably is a major improvement in program execution speed. Other improvements include:

  • Limitations on effective flange width calculations per LRFD 4.6.2.6.1 can be ignored
  • User defined live load distribution factors can now be defined per girder
  • Added new mild reinforcing steel types (A615 and A706 in Grade 40, 60, 75, and 80)
  • Added lower bound D40 to the WSDOT Girder Schedule Report
  • Added feature to design multiple girders with one command
  • Added multiple girder specification check report
  • Added ability to report multiple girder designs for TxDOT CAD export
  • Added support for TxDOT spread slab beams
  • Added ability to directly select Project Criteria from within TxDOT TOGA plugin
  • Added ability to define end block regions for U Beams
