Announcing PGSuper Professional 1.6.1 and PGSuper 2.9.2

BridgeSight proudly announces the release of PGSuper Professional Version 1.6.1 in concert with the Washington and Texas Departments of Transportation release of PGSuper Version 2.9.2. This is a maintenance update that fixes several minor bugs and some program crashes. A detailed list can be found at:

We highly recommend that you upgrade your installation of PGSuper as soon as possible.

New Features in PGSuper Professional 1.6.1

    Announcing the Release of PGSuper Professional 1.6 and PGSuper 2.9.1

    BridgeSight proudly announces PGSuper Professional Version 1.6 in concert with the Washington and Texas Departments of Transportation release of PGSuper Version 2.9.1. This is mostly a bug fix update, but does include implementation of the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Manual 7th Edition 2016 Interim Revisions. Here are some highlights:

    Newly Updated Tutorial - Modelling Wearing Surfaces in PGSuper

    We just posted a newly updated tutorial that explains new features for modelling wearing surfaces in PGSuper. PGSuper supports several types of wearing surfaces, and each type has different implications on the analysis performed by the software. This white paper details the types of wearing surfaces that PGSuper supports, describes how they are modeled, and explains how each affects the analysis.

    New Tutorial - Substructure Design Using PGSuper Professional and VBent

    BridgeSight Inc has joined forces with our friends at Viathor to provide PGSuper Professional and VBent customers a powerful new way to integrate superstructure and substructure design. The BridgeSight VBent Exporter extracts information from a PGSuper model and prepares it for import into VBent. Importing superstructure geometry and structural analysis results into VBent saves you time, money, and increases accuracy. This tutorial will guide you through the process of exporting data from PGSuper Professional into VBent.

    BridgeSight proudly announces PGSuper Professional Version 1.4 in concert with the Washington and Texas Departments of Transportation release of PGSuper Version 2.9. These versions have many useful and exciting new features and enhancements including integration with substructure design software and DXF export. Here are some highlights:

    01/28/2015 - Announcement - WSDOT Releases Beta Version of its new software BridgeLink

    On the 15th anniversary of the first public Beta release of PGSuper, the WSDOT Bridge and Structures Office is pleased to announce the first public beta release of BridgeLink. BridgeLink is an extensible application framework for bridge engineering software. BridgeLink allows for a wide variety of bridge engineering applications to be linked together in a consistent and cohesive environment. This first version of BridgeLink features beta versions of PGSuper 3.0, BEToolbox 3.0, and the multi-stage, post-tensioned precast-prestressed splice girder design program: PGSplice 3.0.

    10/13/2014 - Announcing PGSuper Professional Version 1.3.1 and PGSuper 2.8.2

    BridgeSight and our PGSuper partners; WSDOT, TxDOT and KDOT are excited to announce that PGSuper Professional 1.3.1 and PGSuper 2.8.2 have just been released. 2.8.2 is a maintenance release of PGSuper 2.8 that resolves mostly minor issues with the software. PGSuper Professional has been updated to be compatible with this release. More details about the release can be found in the attached document.

    As always, please remember to uninstall the current version of PGSuper or PGSuper Pro before installing the new version.
