I am having trouble running a model in BridgeLink. When I run girder design I get an error saying "An error occured during the structural analysis (-2147467259) ./GirderModelManager.cpp, Line1666." I had the model running fine, then changed a few things and this popped up. I tried going back to the previous configuration that worked but still getting the same error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: The file is attached. Clicking the Design Girder button recreates the error.

The problem is that the

The problem is that the bearing offset is -9".

This should be valid input, but it is causing the problem.

The connections you are using a not very typical. I would find it helpful in resolving this issue completely if you could share with me the pier layout and girder framing details.

If you don't want to post the details in this forum, you can send them to me directly (bricer@wsdot.wa.gov).

If you change the bearing offsets to 9", the design works fine.
